Urology Nursing Jobs

Urology nursing jobs are responsible for performing examinations, reviewing patient medical records, and giving treatment for different diseases and conditions. These professionals work in many different health care settings including hospitals, private doctor's offices, and residential health facilities.

Education and training requirements for urology nursing careers involve a diploma, an associate degree, or a bachelor's degree from an accredited program. The National Council Licensure Examination must be passed to become licensed, which is required in all states before becoming employed.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be a 22 percent increase over the 2008 to 2018 decade which will be faster than the national employment average.
