Phlebotomist Jobs

Phlebotomy is a medical profession that collects blood from patients in order to perform a variety of tests or for donating blood. Phlebotomists are not required to be licensed except in California and Kentucky. In order to become a phlebotomist one must have a high school diploma or GED. Aspiring phlebotomists generally spend about four months in a trade school where they learn the proper techniques for taking and handling blood.
