Radiologic Technology Jobs

Radiologic technology jobs are in place to perform imaging examinations on their patients to diagnose medical problems. These professionals are in place at clinics, hospitals, and private doctor's offices and spend about half their time observing or assisting in labs with patients.

The minimum education requirement for this career is at least at least an associate degree. Academic programs can be found at colleges and universities around the country. Most states require licensure to be employed, but requirements vary by state. Passing examinations given by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) will result in professional certification along with 24hrs of continuing education every 2 years to maintain this status.
